Sugar-free strawberry roll ups

Forget the store-bought, sugar-filled roll-ups that your kids' eyes look for in supermarkets and bake a batch with them at home instead.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup strawberries, washed and sliced

  • 3 tbs chia seeds or hemp seeds

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

METHOD

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 120°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 - Place strawberries, lemon juice and seeds into a high speed blender and puree.

Step 3 - Pour strawberry puree onto baking tray. Evenly smooth out with a spatula to make a thin, even layer.

Step 4 - Cook in the oven for approx. 3 hours. Once cooked, transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool until firm.

Step 5 - Carefully remove baking paper and slice into pieces with a sharp knife.

Step 6 - Store in an airtight container in the pantry. Enjoy!
